This six story 195,000 sf corporate headquarters building was designed as a state-of-the-art facility for Calamos Investments. The office building and its attached amenities, including dining and conferencing spaces, is the first phase of a master plan development that will include additional office as well as hotel, retail and housing.
The stepped plan of the south façade with faceted projecting fins of green glass reflects the curving site configuration and presents a landmark image along the adjacent toll highway.
The interiors were designed by Lohan Anderson to enhance the working environment for this asset management team. A raised floor system for data, tempered air, and utility services distribution is used along with demountable partitions and workstations for easy, long term flexibility.
